Myles Garrett will miss Sunday’s tilt versus the Minnesota Vikings in London due to a concussion.

Essentially, the rule says that a quarterback who slides late is responsible for contact. But if the contact is high then it’s a penalty, regardless.

Part of the problem with that is that the head is the last part to go down on slides, teeing it up for diving defenders. Any time a quarterback chooses to slide late, defenders are tasked with avoiding contact altogether because a hit to the head is likely the only collision that can happen.

“Hopefully, he can clear everything and can be here for Sunday,” cornerback Morris Claiborne said of Skrine. “But, as of now, we’re preparing as if he won’t be here.”

Martavis Bryant said last weekend he was happy to be a Steeler, but his actions make that hard to believe.

The NFL’s network TV partners, for their part, refuse to show, much less discuss, player protests on the air during game telecasts after airing them for a brief time earlier in the season.

Across the media landscape, viewers are watching less sports on TV. The NFL is also missing an All-Pro team of injured stars including Aaron Rodgers, Odell Beckham Jr. and J.J. Watt. Former draws such as Peyton Manning and Tony Romo are now retired.

With Palmer out of the picture for now, quarterback Drew Stanton will be tasked with helping the 3-4 Cardinals turn around their season. Arians, who denied reports he was considering to leave the team at season’s end, said Stanton will be Cardinals’ starting quarterback moving forward. The team also has backup Blaine Gabbert.

Kizer needs time to develop, and he’ll get that luxury in real game action. but Kizer’s development isn’t Jackson’s biggest concern.

“I can’t worry about confidence,” Jackson said. “You guys Wholesale Jerseys NFL keep talking Where To Buy Cheap Jerseys about confidence. We are in the business of winning games.”
